About Lynn Murphy
I am a user interface software architect living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I have over 15 years of experience in the software industry which includes involvement in every aspect of software development from initial requirements gathering and task analysis to code architecture and implementation. My expertise is in developing usable and functional user interfaces for the web. A unique strength is the pairing of strong technical abilities with user experience knowledge and design aesthetics.

About This Site
Technology
This site hand-coded and is custom built using CakePHP
and runs on a WAMP configuration. It uses the CSS resources and panel component of the Yahoo! User Interface Library (YUI). The site is valid XHTML 1.0 Strict with the exception of the page which uses the Flickr slideshow component within an <iframe>.
Photography
My photos are hosted on Flickr. To access these photos and their associated information I use phpFlickr, a PHP class which acts as a wrapper to the Flickr API.
My camera of choice is currently the Canon PowerShot SD700 IS.
